New Zealand offers two entrepreneur programs. The NZ Entrepreneur Work Visa requires a NZ$100,000 investment, whereas the NZ Global Impact Work Visa simply requires approval by the designed incubator. After a certain period, you are eligible for permanent residence. New Zealand citizenship is possible after 5 years of residence in the country.

New Zealand Entrepreneur Visa
Application Process
NZ$100,000 investment in an existing or new business. With businesses in the science or ICT sectors, or businesses with a high innovation and/or export potential, the minimum investment requirement can be waived. The initial permit is valid for 3 years and eligibility for permanent residence can start after 6 months. You will need to show that your business is established and that it is profitable in order to apply for permanent residence. If you which to apply for PR after 6 months and before 2 years of running your business, you must have invested at least NZ$ 500,000 in your business. You will also have to have created at least 3 jobs. You will need to have at least 25% ownership of your business and in total your business must be in operation for a further 2 years. Additional requirements:

- Get at least 120 pts on the test on the candidate's profile
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - General or Academic Module Overall score of 4 or more
- No bankruptcies in the last 5 years or fraud convictions
- A minimum stay of 41 days a year

- To maintain permanent residency status, visa holders must reside in Australia for at least 2 years.
