E-2 Investor Visa
Application Process
The US E-2 Treaty Investor Visa is only available to a limited
amount of foreign nationals. These countries include Canada,
Australia, European countries, and others such as Turkey,
Grenada, and Montenegro. The applicant must have a business to
run in the US. The minimum investment is not set in the laws and
regulation, but in practice, investments below $200,000 are
routinely refused unless they have other significant benefits such
as job creation.
With the US E-2 treaty visa you can get all the benefits of
accessing the US market, without necessarily triggering the
tax implications that face US citizen or Green Card holders.
Those that wish to make the US their permanent home can
change their status from E-2 to other immigrant visas.
Global RCG and its partners offer 3 assisted routes for the US E-2 Visa:
