Application Process
To apply for the Ontario Express Entry Human Capital
Priorities Stream, there is no investment required. The
Ontario program selects candidates based on their profile,
without the need of a job offer.
You will need to demonstrate work experience in qualifying
fields, at least a bachelor’s degree and enough funds to
support your family’s settlement. You must do so by
making a commitment to settle in the Ontario province.
All family members need to have the following:
- Security clearance to determine they are not a security threat to Canada
- A medical examination to determine they do not have severe health conditions that would put a burden on the Canadian healthcare system.
Benefits:
- As a Canadian permanent resident, you will receive a multi-exit visa allowing you to travel in and out of Canada.
- The Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream offers the fastest path toward Canadian permanent residency and it doesn’t require a job offer.
- Once you are in Canada, you only have to be physically present two years out of five to maintain your status. After three years of continuous residency, you are eligible for Canadian citizenship.
