Application Process

Applicants may choose one of the following investment criteria:

1.Real Estate

  • EUR 500,000 commercial real estate purchase with no property restriction.
  • EUR 500,000 residential real estate purchase outside of Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve.
  • EUR 350,000 real estate purchase in properties older than 30 years or in an area of urban regeneration, including the costs of renovations.
  • 20% discount on properties located in a low-density area, including the costs of renovations.

2.Alternative Investment Funds

  • EUR 250,000 donation in support of artistic production or in the recovery or maintenance of national cultural heritage
  • EUR 500,000 donation for research activities of public or private entities that are part of the national scientific and technological system
  • EUR 500,000 investment in venture capital funds or other structured investment funds. The securities must have a maturity of at least five years and at least 60% the funds investment portfolio must be in Portuguese companies
