Greece
Wealth Visa
Greece offers foreigners a resident permit for those who can prove financial independence. The program works similarly to a rentier program. As long as you can demonstrate that you have a secure and stable income without needing to work in Greece, you can renew your resident permit. The program can lead to permanent residency after five years and citizenship after seven years. Greece's income taxes are high, but since 2020 the country offers foreigners who are legally considered tax residents the ability to shield their foreign income by only paying an annual lump sum tax.
